What We Expect From Apple iPhones This Year

A 2020 Launch

It’s pretty certain that Apple will unveil it’s brand new iPhones in September 2020. It’s thought that this new batch of products will feature some of the company’s best tech yet.

So far, we believe that Apple will launch four individual iPhones in the Autumn. These will be 5.4, 6.7 and 6.1 inches in size depending on the device.

Bigger and Smaller

The 5.4 inch 2020 iPhone 12 is set to be the smallest iPhone we’ve had in a long time  - the iPhone 8 being the smallest ever at just 4.7 inches - making it ideal for those of you who don’t like to carry around a large device.

On the other hand, for those of you who prefer a bigger screen, that’s perfect for streaming movies and other media on the go, the new 2020 iPhone 12 Pro will have your back, being - at 6.7 inches - the biggest Apple iPhone in history.

Major Updates

The 2020 iPhone releases will feature some of the most noticeable design and technology updates since the iPhone X was launched back in 2017.

OLED screens

All of the new 2020 iPhones will feature OLED screens, however, the rumour mill has it that the two largest iPhone models will feature higher-end OLED technology than the smaller models.

Triple Lens Camera

It is thought the larger iPhone designs will also feature a 3-D triple-lens camera, which will make it ideal for professional photo/video shooting. If you’re into crystal clear displays, and you desire a greater level of stability when you’re capturing images, buying one of these models is sure to fill you with delight. Oh, it’ll be amazing for Augmented Reality applications too.

New Design

Excitingly, it is thought that at least one of the 2020 batch of iPhones will feature a design that is significantly different than the iPhones we are used to. According to rumours, it will feature a metal frame, much like that used for the iPhone 4. It is also thought it will be flatter and sleeker than previous models and incorporate a more segmented design than previous iPhones.

Colours

It is also thought that the new 2020 iPhones may be available in a brand new navy blue finish, which should be a stylish addition to the range.

5G

2020 is set to be the year when Apple introduces support for 5G. This will mean that your iPhone can connect to the 5G network, which will make browsing, streaming and working far faster than you have ever experienced before.
